About the role
## About the role MITCON is looking for results-oriented energy auditors with one to three years of hands-on experience running energy audits across commercial, industrial and other facilities. You will carry out the audits on site, find the savings, and write the audit and verification reports that the client acts on. **Location:** Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab · **Openings:** 2 · **Employment:** full-time · **Experience:** 1–3 years ## What you will do - Conduct detailed energy audits at industrial, commercial and other client facilities. - Inspect and assess electrical and mechanical systems on site. - Analyse energy consumption patterns and identify where energy is being wasted. - Take measurements and collect energy data at client sites. - Calculate potential energy savings, cost savings and payback periods. - Write detailed energy audit reports, and the measurement and verification (M&V) reports that follow them. - Present findings and recommendations to the client, and coordinate with their teams during site visits. - Keep accurate records of measurements, observations and supporting documentation. - Travel to client locations for audits and project assignments. - Deliver audits within the agreed timelines and to the expected quality standard. ## You must have - A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Energy Engineering, or a related field. - 1–3 years of hands-on experience in energy auditing. - Practical experience running audits on site and operating energy audit instruments. - Good working knowledge of energy efficiency and energy conservation practice. - The ability to read electrical and mechanical systems and interpret energy consumption data. - Familiarity with energy audit instruments and measurement techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ## Good to have - BEE certification — Certified Energy Auditor or Certified Energy Manager. - Exposure to measurement and verification protocols such as IPMVP. - Audits across a range of facility types: manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, utilities. ## Engagement details - Employment type: full-time. - Location: Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, on site, with travel to client locations. - Openings: 2. - Experience: 1–3 years. - Compensation: ₹3–4.2 LPA, set against experience and skills.
